Event Preview: Electron @ The Brooklyn Bowl, March 11th – 12th

We’re dreaming about this upcoming weekend, and for really one reason only. One of our favorite super-bands, Electron, is making a run at our favorite music venue, The Brooklyn Bowl. The stars have aligned, the sun is shining, and summertime music memories are on the way. We’re viewing these two performances as a kickoff to Spring, happiness, and the festival season. Miserable Winter, your time has come and pass, get out of here, and make way for Electron and 70 degree weather.

For those not as familiar with Electron, it’s a super group comprised of members from legendary bands you’ve certainly heard of. The band is the brainchild of Marc Brownstein (bass, The Disco Biscuits), and features Aron Magner (keys, Disco Biscuits), Mike Greenfield (drums, Lotus), and Tom Hamilton (vocals / guitar, JRAD & American Babies). Electron is the premier Jamtronica act out their right now, so if you’re into getting down to electronic music, but need live instrumentation to justify a concert, don’t look any further – this show’s for you. Nasty Boulder set below, and tickets here.
