If you’re around New York City this upcoming weekend, do yourself a favor and grab some tickets for Pink Talking Fish’s concert cruises on Friday, July 8th. The hybrid tribute fusion act will perform a pair of concerts aboard The Jewel to showcase two different aquatic music experiences. The first concert kicks off at 7 PM and will feature Pink Talking Fish performing Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety. The second concert, billed as the “PTF Dance Party” will feature a set of classic Pink Talking Fish paying tribute to the catalogues of Pink Floyd, The Talking Heads, and Phish. This performance kicks off at 11 PM, and the “Kuaz Horns” of Turkuaz are slated to accompany round two.
When we spoke to Eric Gould of PTF, (check out the interview here), he told us all about the meticulous care and creativity the band commits to each live music experience they host. This pair of concerts obviously seems like no exception, and after witnessing the Kuaz Horns act as an incredibly active, successful “artist at large” during this year’s Disc Jam, we simply cannot wait for Friday. Get your tickets for the 7 PM show here, the 11 PM show here, and enjoy this HD recording of Pink Talking Fish’s full set at 2014’s Catskill Chill.
