Las Vegas, Neva. — The Motet with special guest Jennifer Hartswick will be hosting the Phish after party Halloween night, Wednesday, October 31st, this year at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas. Doors will open at 11:00pm and the show will begin around 12:00am. Limited tickets will be available at the door night of the show, so be sure to buy your tickets in advance! Halloween night is the first of four stops The Motet will be making out West. After Las Vegas, The Motet will continue onto California to deliver the funk to the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles (Nov. 1st) and the Belly Up Tavern in San Diego (Nov. 2nd) before swinging around to Phoenix for a throw down at the Crescent Ballroom (Nov. 3rd.) All three shows will feature support from The DIP.
The power-funk heptad has played Halloween night consecutively for the past 16 years, dressing and performing the music of influences including Sly & the Family Stone, Earth, Wind and Fire, Madonna, Talking Heads, Prince, and more. Since 2013, The Motet has played a series of Halloween shows titled “The Motet Mixtape” where the band picks a year and performs music by various artists that was released during the specified year. Past Mixtapes have encompassed years such as 1980, 1975, 1977 and 1979.
The Motet‘s tour will head cross-country from here for a 2-night run at the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY before adventuring into the Midwest.
