Red Hot Chili Peppers Release a New Single

No, you’re not crazy, and yes, you read that correctly. For the first time in five years, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have shared a new single with the world. “Dark Necessities,” released just yesterday, is the first single off the band’s upcoming studio album, The Getaway, which is scheduled for release on June 17th.

Produced by Dangermouse, half of the Indie Rock band, Broken Bells, and mixed by Nigel Godrich, the engineer who mastered seven Radiohead’s albums, The Getaway can be preordered here.
