In my humble opinion, Peter Shapiro & Dave Frey’s Lockn’ Music Festival boasted the most impressive music lineup amongst rock festivals this summer. Phish performed its only outdoor camping festival at Lockn’, and the holy band was supported by other legendary acts like Phil Lesh & Friends, My Morning Jacket, and Ween, to name a few.
Needless to say, when we were invited to cover Lockn’ for our first time this summer, it was an extremely bittersweet feeling. Sweet because the invitation marked a huge landmark for our growing brand, but bitter because there simply was no logistic scenario where my core staff or I could attend. Thankfully, my friend and talented photographer, Sean Schechter, kindly volunteered to help us cover Lockn’ and represent Sound Fix with professional images of the weekend. Sean runs his own media company, SCS Media, and just started to manage Chromatropic, an incredibly talented up-and-coming jam band from my backyard in Brooklyn. So make sure to like Chromatropic on Facebook, and enjoy these photos from Lockn’ 2016.
